It looks really much better in the flesh than in the picture this knife.

It is likely made in carbon steel not stainless steel. (It does not actually state this anywhere I can see on the box or anything though.) As the original FS Sheffield made knives too usually always were forged in carbon steel, and today still are. Obviously this is a bare bones copy of the Third Pattern type later WW2 grooved handled FS as named for designers Fairbain Sykes, Commando type fighting knife. Unlike the real item this blade has only one sharpened edge. Not double edged like the original dagger was. This means you can slightly rough up the top edge, use sandpaper lightly or something, to give a better surface for striking a fire steel there for fire making.

Overall a very nice knife if you also maybe just merely wanted a commemorative piece for a wall in homage to past WW2 British Commando history. Carried also by the early WW2 units my Uncle was in both. LRDG Long Range Desert Group in the North African desert campaign, and the subsequent early first trial type SAS battalions he was with further afield till war's end. I like it as it makes me think of him I guess. He was a hero of mine, of course for his wartime exploits, attached to the stand of Field Marshall then General Montgomery.
You would today play triple this cost for a real double edged FS Commando knife. This is a superb reproduction value for money blade. Comes with quite a surprisingly good belt type sheath for use say in a camp area/woodland. (I'm not going to use this as a belt carried blade myself, in the current climate however. Caution advised to comply with current knife laws.)
