FireDragon can be used in multi-fuel outdoor cooking stoves, and excellent for charcoal barbecues, as well as indoor ethanol fireplaces.

I've used this system over the weekend. Whilst the burn time isn't long, it is long enough to warm through ready-made pouch meals and make a brew with the water, so there is no messing around, half fill your mess tin with water and add the food pouch, light the fuel and pop the tin on the flame, and off you go.
The fuel lights very quickly, so use matches, as they keep your fingers away from the flame.
Use something else if you want to cook a meal from scratch.
