The Sawyer MINI personal water filter is the lightest and most adaptable that Sawyer have put on the market, weighing only 2 ounces, fitting in the palm of your hand, and filtering 0.1 micron absolute to remove 99.99999% of all bacteria, such as salmonella, cholera, and E. coli; 99.9999 percent of all protozoa (such as giardia and cryptosporidium), and 100% of microplastics from your water.

Attach the MINI to the provided drinking pouch, drink straight from a water source using the included straw, connect it to hydration pack tubing, or screw it onto regular disposable water and soda bottles using the easy-to-use MINI.

The MINI, which has been recognized for providing up to 100,000 filtered gallons of water, is ideal for everything from camping with the kids to traveling abroad and mostly importantly a crucial tool for your bug out bag!

The MINI's filtering membranes are durable enough to withstand backwashing with the included syringe, restoring up to 98.5% of the filter's flow rate after being treated with up to 100,000 gallons.

The MINI's filter is washable and reusable for an extended period of time, with no pricey cartridges to replace...ever! For optimum performance, we recommend backwashing and sanitizing the filter after every excursion.

MAXIMUM VERSATILITY

The MINI is ideal for outdoor fun, trekking, camping, scouting, domestic and international travel, and emergency preparedness.

Simply fill the included recyclable pouch with water at any water source, attach the filter to it, and drink straight from the filter or pour water into a bottle.

The straw may also be used to drink directly from water sources. Screw the filter onto most standard disposable water or soda bottles, or attach it inline on hydration packs (sold separately) for further versatility.

The standard for a reason.

Love this filter for hiking, bought this one as a gift for a friend who suffered giardiasis hiking in the Balkans, I shopped around and found this to be the best price and service available. It strikes a good balance between weight and flow rate compared to the other versions available. Be aware that it is not effective against viruses which may be a problem in more populated areas, but because it filters on demand it is perfect as a pre-filter for chemical treatments which are great against viruses but struggle with protozoa. Other filters may be effective against viruses but are consumed in the process, this filter is maximally resilient, and can be back flushed in the field when it blocks. IMO this makes it ideal for inclusion in a bugout bag which you train with regularly to keep familiar with gear, techniques and physical conditioning.
