Light and Power Kit: Nitecore NB10000 Power Bank and Predator Headlamp

A Nitecore power bank to keep the phones charged and a headlamp so your hands are free: light and power for a power cut, in one order. Both are small enough to live in a kitchen drawer or a grab bag until the lights go out.

What's in it

• Nitecore NB10000 Gen 4 power bank. 10,000mAh at 143g, two USB-C ports, 22.5W charging and IPX7 against water. It comes with its own short charging cable.
• Predator II headlamp. Five LED settings, including a red light that keeps your night vision, on an adjustable strap. The guidance says a torch per person, and torches are safer than candles.

Before you buy

• The headlamp runs on batteries, not USB. It takes 3 AAA batteries, not included, so the power bank won't charge it. That's on purpose: batteries keep for years in a drawer, and the power bank is free for the phones.
• Keep the power bank topped up. Charge it every few months so it's full when you need it.

Bought separately, the two items come to £83.90 today. Want a bigger power bank or a radio as well? Email us and we'll suggest what fits. We reply within 24 hours.
