Midland ER300 Pro DAB Emergency Radio (Pre-order, January delivery)

Pre-order: the ER300 Pro DAB is Midland's new version of the ER300 Pro with DAB digital radio added. Our first delivery is expected in January 2027. An order placed now is a pre-order for that delivery; nothing ships before then.

Early-bird price: £95 while it is on pre-order. The price will be £104.50 once the first delivery arrives. You are charged when you order, and you can cancel for a full refund at any time before it ships. We'll email you the week it is on its way. The photos show the current ER300 Pro; the DAB version is the same radio with the DAB tuner added.

What DAB changes

Most UK national and local stations now broadcast on DAB as well as FM, and some are DAB only. The ER300 Pro DAB receives DAB and DAB+ alongside FM and AM, so you can tune to a station by name rather than hunting for a frequency, and you keep the FM band for when DAB coverage drops. In a power cut, BBC local radio is the official channel for local information, and it is on both.

Everything the ER300 Pro does

Midland tells us the DAB model keeps the ER300 Pro's features. That means a 10,000mAh battery that charges a phone about twice over, charging by USB-C, hand crank or the built-in solar panel, a Bluetooth speaker mode, an LED torch with an SOS flash, a visual and acoustic SOS alarm, a temperature sensor and a backlit display with a clock. We will confirm the full specification, weight and pack contents against the first units when they arrive and update this page.

ER300 Pro or ER300 Pro DAB?

If you only want the news in a power cut, the ER300 Pro on FM does the job for less. If you listen to DAB-only stations, or want the radio to be the one you use every week rather than just in an emergency, the DAB version is the better buy. Both are on pre-order for January.

Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your items then you can return them to Sgt Prepper Shop within 30 days of delivery. Damaged items or faults need to be reported within 48hrs of delivery.

We ship to virtually any address in the UK, with all orders currently sent via Royal Mail.

Orders over £80 qualify for free standard delivery. For orders under £80, a flat £4.95 shipping fee applies.

We aim to deliver your item within 2–4 working days, and once your order is placed, we’ll provide an estimated delivery date based on stock availability and your selected shipping option.

IMPORTANT

As of 6th April 2022, if you have bought an age restricted item such as a knife or an axe, your delivery driver will require you to show ID as proof of age as per The Offensive Weapon Act 2019.
