MIRA Safety MB-90 PAPR Battery Pack (Spare, Holds 8 AA)

A spare 8 x AA battery module for the MIRA MB-90 PAPR. Batteries are not included.

SUMMARY

The battery module that powers the MB-90. It holds eight AA batteries and slots into the battery port of the unit. A spare means you can swap the power source if the unit runs flat during long use, or if a module is damaged or lost.

DETAILS

• Runs on ordinary AA batteries: MIRA replaced the original expensive battery with a module that takes eight AAs, which are easy to find and easy to recharge, so the PAPR stays cheap to run over months or years.

• Hot-swappable: MIRA says spare modules can be swapped in if your PAPR loses power, so keeping one or two loaded is cheap insurance.

• Fits the current MB-90 only: MIRA states the module is only compatible with the current version of the MB-90 PAPR.

• Batteries not included: Supply your own eight AAs. Rechargeable cells work well for regular use.

• Storage tip: MIRA recommends storing batteries separately from the module for long-term storage, as leaking or ageing batteries can damage it. Check them regularly.

HOW IT'S PACKED

One battery module. Shipping weight about 136g.

Why Buy a Spare?

A spare module is the simplest way to extend the MB-90 beyond one set of batteries, and it means a loaded module can be ready in your kit while another is in use or on charge.
