Nitecore HC65 MCT Headlamp, 2000 Lumens, Magnesium

The serious headlamp: 2,000 lumens in warm, neutral or cool white, 154 hours on its lowest setting, a magnesium body and the 4,000mAh battery in the box. It is the one for a long night outdoors or a long power cut, when a small headlamp runs out.

What it's for

Eight LEDs behind one lens give a wide, even beam to 258 metres. Warm 3,000K is CRI 98, so colours are true. Five white levels, two red, SOS and Beacon. The 18650 battery is removable, so you can carry a spare and charge in the lamp by USB-C at 18W. A lockout and a transport position stop it switching on or shining in your eyes in a bag.
