What it's for

The household bank. Nitecore's own chart puts it at 3.8 charges of an iPhone 15 Pro or 1.2 of a 13-inch iPad Pro. Both ports take charge in as well as out, so it refills at 18W from a wall adapter while powering something else at 15W. A low-current mode looks after earbuds and watches. One thing to know before you order: there is no cable in the box, only a USB-C to USB-A adapter, so use the one from your phone.

If you own a hand-crank radio such as the Midland ER100, this is the bank we'd pair with it. The radio's own 2,600mAh battery is radio and torch time, and the crank puts back minutes of listening rather than a phone charge; a separate bank keeps the phones alive and tops the radio up by USB.
