Mira Safety CM-6M Gas Mask w/ Drinking System

A full-face mask for adults who want to know they could protect themselves if they ever had to. It keeps its visor clear, lets you talk and drink while wearing it, and takes standard 40mm filters that last for years.

Comes with a pre-installed drinking system and a 900ml canteen, and it's covered by Mira Safety's 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Made in the Czech Republic.

Please note: the filter is not included. You'll need a 40mm threaded filter to use this mask. For chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear protection, pair it with the NBC-77 SOF filter, which has a 20-year shelf life. Keep the filter sealed in its packaging until you need it.

Why people choose the CM-6M

• You can see out of it. The inner mask directs your breath away from the visor, so it doesn't fog up.
• You can talk to each other. The built-in speech diaphragm keeps at least 95% of speech understandable, so you don't have to take the mask off to be heard.
• You can drink without taking it off. The pre-installed drinking system and the 900ml canteen that comes with it let you have water while the mask stays on.
• Easier to wear for longer. Low breathing resistance and less carbon dioxide build-up inside the mask make it more comfortable over long periods.
• Filters are easy to find for years. It takes standard 40mm (EN 148-1) threaded filters, including the NBC-77. Fit the filter on the left or right, and seal the other side with the plug.
• Built to a heavy-duty standard. A bromobutyl rubber facepiece that meets EN 136 class 3.

Before you buy: fit

• One size, designed for adults. A five-point head harness adjusts for a snug fit.
• It needs a clean-shaven seal. Beards, stubble and sideburns where the mask touches your face stop it sealing properly.
• If you wear glasses, the 3M 6878 spectacle kit fits inside the mask (available separately), or you can wear contact lenses.
• For children, this mask isn't suitable. The Mira MD-1 Kids gas mask comes in medium and large, and the HAZ-SUIT comes in youth and adult sizes.

Storing it

Keep the mask in a cool, dark, dust-free place with a steady temperature, out of sunlight and away from heat. Don't store it near fuels, solvents or other chemicals, or near electrical equipment that sparks. Make sure nothing presses on it and bends the rubber.

Important safety information

• Choose the filter for the hazard. The right filter depends on the type and concentration of what you need protection from. Check the filter's own guidance.

• Before use, make sure the filter and the plug are both screwed in fully.
